Alysoun is a graduate and alumnus of Nova Southeast University Shepard Broad Law Center, earning her Juris Doctorate degree in 1990. She began her legal career representing indigent clients at the Public Defenders Office in West Palm Beach, Florida where, for the next nine years she protected her clients' rights in felony and capital cases. The course of her legal career shifted after marriage brought her to Beaufort, South Carolina. In 1999, she mentored with Sherwood N. Fender, Esq. who gave her a solid foundation in all kinds of real estate legal matters. When Sherwood retired in 2004, she opened Eversole Law Firm with her primary practice areas being real estate closing transactions, representing developers, investors, purchasers and sellers, and litigating quiet title actions involving heirs' property, tax sales and land disputes. Alysoun approaches every aspect of her practice with the firm belief that there is an acceptable solution to every problem and a strategic way to accomplish it. She is an alumnus of Leadership Beaufort, has served on the board of directors for the Beaufort Home Builder's Association and the board of directors for Main Street Beaufort. Cherese has testified as an expert in many quiet title actions as an abstractor making her a natural fit for our firm. Her desire is to continue in real property law, including real estate closings, and to expand her legal career into civil litigation such as handling personal injury and contract dispute cases.
Butch is a graduate and alumus of the University of North Carolina, earning his law degree in 1970. After working in the North Carolina Court of Appeals as a law clerk for his first year, he then entered into private practice based in Durham, North Carolina. In 1979, he returned to his native state of South Carolina focusing his attention on Bankruptcy Law. He has appeared before Bankrutpcy Courts in the District of South Carolina in hundreds of Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 cases. He joined Eversole Law Firm, P.C. in 2015 founding its Bankruptcy Division. Butch's clientele is not limited to any income bracket, stature or notoriety. No client's case is too l arge or too small. While the monetary valule or value of collateral may greatly differ from client to client, the intensity and time invested is equal in nature. His simple formula is finding out the need of each individual client and resutructuring their current financial situation so that the outcome is not only long lasting, but life changing.e

Cherese joined Eversole Law Firm as an Associate Attorney having graduated from Savannah Law School and admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association in 2017. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, she has a passion for quieting title to heirs property which is prevalent in the Lowcountry. As owner of Heritage Title Abstracting for over 18 years, Cherese has an extensive background in land titles.
